“The Queen of Pears”

FRUIT: considered the Queen of pears, was discovered in France In Abate Fetel in the mid-1800s. In Italy it is produced only in Emilia. The fruits are shaped like elongated flask-large size (even more than 250 gr.)

SKIN: smooth and thin, the colour of a yellow duck.

PULP: juicy, fine white from sweet and sour taste, extremely fragrant and pleasant.

AGING: end of September.

MARKETING: from late September to March, while from April to August is imported.

IMPORT: Argentina and Chile
